Challenges
As a platform that empowers engineers to build and share custom web apps using Python, VIKTOR needed an efficient way to align its product roadmap with company-wide goals. Before adopting ProductHub, VIKTOR’s roadmap process faced several challenges:
Fragmented roadmap alignment: Monthly roadmap meetings with stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and the Management Team) collected input and categorized initiatives by themes. However, initiatives were not consistently prioritized based on measurable value.
Difficulties in prioritization: Without a clear method to quantify expected returns, VIKTOR found it difficult to compare initiatives by the value they bring for the company. Stakeholders felt it was hard to assess if we prioritized in the right way.

VIKTOR adopted ProductHub to address these challenges, transforming their roadmap management process.
Centralized Initiative Tracking: VIKTOR now uses ProductHub to input all upcoming initiatives, allowing them to create Business Cases for each initiative. This ensures that every initiative can be compared based on its potential return, risk, and alignment with strategic goals.
ROI-Based Prioritization: The team leverages ProductHub’s overview table to easily compare initiatives based on their ROI. This has fostered a more transparent and data-driven approach to prioritization during roadmap meetings, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement: ProductHub makes VIKTOR’s roadmap available to all stakeholders, keeping everyone informed about the prioritization process and the status of each initiative.
